Day 1: Huaraz – Macashca – Lake Rajucolta – Huaraz

Early morning departure from Huaraz toward the village of Macashca, located in the eastern sector of the Cordillera Blanca. Upon arrival at the trailhead, begin the hike through beautiful highland landscapes, following a gradual ascent toward Lake Rajucolta. Along the route, enjoy panoramic views of Huantsán and the surrounding mountains. Upon reaching the lake, take time to relax, explore the area, and admire the stunning glacial scenery. After the visit, descend along the same trail and return to Huaraz in the afternoon.
