The Huayhuash Circuit Trek is considered one of the finest long-distance treks in South America and among the most beautiful mountain journeys in the world. Located south of the Cordillera Blanca, the Cordillera Huayhuash is home to dramatic peaks rising above 6,000 meters, pristine alpine lakes, remote valleys, and traditional Andean communities.
This 12-day trekking expedition completes the classic Huayhuash Circuit, crossing multiple high mountain passes and offering spectacular views of iconic mountains such as Yerupajá (6,635 m), Siula Grande (6,344 m), Jirishanca, and Rondoy.

Itinerary
Day 1: Huaraz – Cuartelhuain Camp
Transfer from Huaraz to the starting point of the trek. Camp at Cuartelhuain.
Day 2: Cuartelhuain – Mitucocha
Cross the first mountain pass and enjoy views of Rondoy and Ninashanca.
Day 3: Mitucocha – Carhuacocha
Trek through spectacular valleys toward the beautiful Carhuacocha Lake.
Day 4: Carhuacocha – Huayhuash
One of the most scenic days of the circuit, passing beneath towering glaciers and iconic peaks.
Day 5: Huayhuash – Viconga
Cross another high pass before descending to the Viconga campsite.
Day 6: Viconga – Cuyoc
Trek through remote mountain landscapes and broad Andean valleys.
Day 7: Cuyoc – Huayllapa
Cross the challenging San Antonio Pass with magnificent panoramic views.
Day 8: Huayllapa – Huatiaq
Steady ascent through beautiful highland scenery.
Day 9: Huatiaq – Jahuacocha
One of the most scenic days of the circuit, passing beneath towering glaciers and iconic peaks.
Day 10: Jahuacocha Exploration
Optional hikes and incredible views of Yerupajá and Jirishanca.
Day 11: Jahuacocha – Pocpa
Final trekking stage through scenic Andean terrain.
Day 12: Pocpa – Huaraz
Transfer back to Huaraz and end of services.
