Itinerary
Day 1: Huaraz – Pitec – Lake Churup – Huaraz
Early morning departure from Huaraz to the trailhead at Pitec, located within Huascarán National Park. Begin the ascent through scenic mountain trails, gradually climbing toward the lake. Along the route, enjoy panoramic views of valleys, waterfalls, and surrounding peaks. The trail includes rocky sections and a short steep climb before reaching the stunning Lake Churup. After time to rest, take photographs, and enjoy the scenery, descend along the same route and return to Huaraz in the afternoon.
